Dr. Ihuoma Alozie-Uddoh is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist and Eye Surgeon with extra Fellowship training in Glaucoma. Her clinical focus is on Glaucoma, cataracts, diseases of the anterior segment, and diabetic eye disease. As a physician and eye surgeon, Dr Alozie-Uddoh has extensive and unique knowledge of the delicate anatomy of the muscles of the eyes and face. Her knowledge and expertise makes her the perfect injector choice for neurotoxins and facial fillers as well as other innovative aesthetic treatments of the face and body.

Dr. Alozie-Uddoh enjoys serving the Northern Bronx and Westchester communites and has been in practice in the area for over 20 years. Dr. Alozie-Uddoh brings her expertise and warm bedside manner and creates a unique experience and treatment plan for each patient.

Education and Training

After receiving her Bachelor of Science in biochemistry from City College of New York, Dr. Alozie-Uddoh pursued her medical education at State University of New York, where she earned her Doctor of Medicine.  She interned at Hospital of Saint Raphael, Yale University School of Medicine before completing her ophthalmology residency at Howard University Hospital.   Dr Alozie-Uddoh completed a glaucoma fellowship at Tufts University-New England Eye Center/Ophthalmic Consultants of Boston.

Research

Dr. Alozie-Uddoh's research has centered on Glaucoma. She has shared her work through publications in peer-reviewed journals and abstracts. She has also performed international research.

Volunteer Work

Dr. Alozie-Uddoh has volunteered in West Africa (Ivory Coast and Nigeria) and India.
