These SMS Terms and Conditions govern the text message program operated by Wakefield Eye, Face & Body (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By opting in, you agree to these terms.
Two separate opt-ins
We collect two separate SMS consents, and each one has its own checkbox on our forms. You may give one without the other.
1. Appointment and care messages. Scheduling and appointment requests, confirmations, reminders, rescheduling notices, replies to questions you send us, and pre- and post-treatment care instructions for our eye care and aesthetic services.
2. Marketing messages (optional). Promotional offers, specials, patient events, and news about new treatments. This consent is optional and is collected separately. You can receive appointment and care messages without agreeing to marketing messages, and declining marketing does not affect your care.
How you opt in
You opt in by entering your mobile phone number on a form on wakefieldeye.com and checking the consent box or boxes you want, or by providing written consent during patient registration. Neither box is ever pre-checked, and each consent is given separately. SMS consent is not a condition of purchase or of receiving medical care or services.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Wakefield Eye, Face & Body does not charge you for text messages.
How to stop receiving messages
Reply STOP to any message from us to unsubscribe. You will receive one confirmation message and no further messages after that.

Your mobile number and your consent
Wakefield Eye, Face & Body does not share, sell, or rent mobile phone numbers or SMS consent to any third party for their own marketing purposes. We do not use purchased, rented, or third-party lead lists. Your mobile number is used only to send the messages you have consented to receive.
Supported carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
Information collected through our text message program is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS Terms and Conditions from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page.
